Naturopathic medicine is a style of medicine that focuses on pro-active prevention and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment to promote health. Naturopathic therapies are often used to complement conventional medical treatments.
As Naturopathic Doctors, we are licensed primary care physicians trained in prevention, diagnosis, management and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions. We attend an accredited four-year graduate naturopathic medical program. We receive over 1,100 hours of clinical training managing patient health care and are required to pass extensive post-graduate board exams in order to obtain our medical license.
Although naturopathic doctors can perform minor surgery and prescribe prescription medications, our main emphasis involves using more natural therapies. Our approaches are guided by our naturopathic principles, which you can find here.
Acupuncture is a therapy that uses needles to manipulate the flow of Qi (pronounced: chee) in specific channels (meridians) along the body. Qi is a term used for a form of energy that is responsible for the proper functioning of our body. If a blockage occurs in the flow of Qi or it becomes depleted in some way, disease is formed. Acupuncture points are areas along body meridians that can affect the flow Qi. These points can also affect blood flow, inflammation and pain, neurological impulses, and other mechanical functions in the body.
Traditional Chinese medicine is a form of medical practice that focuses on treating symptoms of illness based on an underlying pattern of disharmony. This concept of treating the whole person rather than individual symptoms has been a common form of medical care in China for more than 2,000 years. Emphasis is placed on creating a balance between the dynamic forces in the body to improve function and promote a healthy state.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine is best known for treating musculoskeletal complaints that involve pain, but in combination with western medicine, it can treat a variety of complaints. Call today to find out if acupuncture and Chinese medicine is an appropriate therapy for you.

Trans-epidermal delivery through ultrasound is a clinically proven way to improve the speed of hair growth and follicle density by 40 – 60% within 1-3 months of treatment.
Our therapy combines therapeutic ultrasound with topical delivery of a hair restoration formula that combines Minoxidil, melatonin, collagen peptides and other botanical herbs proven to improve hair growth. These nutrients have been shown to stimulate new hair growth, strengthen existing hair follicles, and support the anchoring of hair so that is doesn’t fall out as easily.
Treatments are non-invasive, easy, and effective. Combined with other diet and lifestyle changes, these twice a month, in-office treatments can speed up hair growth for those with alopecia areata, androgenic alopecia and hair loss from hypothyroidism. Improvement with hair growth is often seen within the first month of treatment, but at least 3 months of treatment are recommended.

At Aria Integrative Medicine, we understand that living with chronic inflammatory conditions and autoimmune diseases requires a specialized, gentle approach to bodywork. We don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” massage; instead, our therapy is designed to support your body’s unique healing process.
Standard deep-tissue techniques can sometimes overwhelm a sensitive nervous system or trigger a flare-up. Our massage therapist works in tandem with our clinical team to provide targeted treatments that focus on:
-
Reducing Systemic Inflammation: Stimulating lymphatic drainage and improving circulation to help flush metabolic waste.
-
Regulating the Nervous System: Shifting the body from a “fight or flight” state into the parasympathetic “rest and digest” mode to promote cellular repair.
-
Managing Chronic Pain: Gently addressing myofascial triggers and joint stiffness common in conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and Fibromyalgia.
-
Lowering Cortisol: Reducing the stress hormones that often exacerbate autoimmune symptoms.
Whether you are navigating a current flare or seeking long-term maintenance, our goal is to provide a sanctuary where your physical symptoms are met with clinical expertise and deep empathy. We invite you to experience how therapeutic touch can be a vital pillar in your integrative treatment plan.
*Massage therapy is insurance reimbursable – ask about how you can get a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. PIP Claims (auto) and L&I (worker’s comp) are also accepted*
