Hair Restoration Therapy

There are many reasons why people have hair loss. Some of the most common reasons include changes to hormones (androgenic alopecia), changes to nutrient status like low thyroid hormone or iron, and changes to inflammation (alopecia areata).

Identifying why the hair is falling out is the most important part of improving hair loss. Correcting hormonal imbalances, helping with nutrient status and reducing inflammation are all ways to help improve hair growth. But even if you do all of those things, it may take an extremely long time for hair to grow back or for you to notice improvement.

There are many treatments out there for hair growth and loss. Many treatments focus on helping improve blood flow (Minoxidil/Rogaine) or help improve nutrients of the hair (biotin, copper peptides). The challenge though, lies with getting these substances deep enough into the scalp to help with strengthening the hair as it grows out of the follicle.

Trans-epidermal delivery through ultrasound, a technique that uses sound waves to help penetrate the scalp to the depth of the follicle, is a clinically proven way to improve the speed of hair growth and follicle density by 40 – 60% within 1-3 months of treatment.

Our therapy combines therapeutic ultrasound with topical delivery of a hair restoration formula that combines Minoxidil, melatonin, collagen peptides and other botanical herbs proven to improve hair growth. These nutrients have been shown to stimulate new hair growth, strengthen existing hair follicles, and support the anchoring of hair so that is doesn’t fall out as easily.

Treatments are non-invasive, easy, and effective. Combined with other diet and lifestyle changes, these twice a month, in-office treatments can speed up hair growth for those with alopecia areata, androgenic alopecia and hair loss from hypothyroidism. Improvement with hair growth is often seen within the first month of treatment, but at least 3 months of treatment are recommended.
