Dr. Azadeh Fariba (She/Her)

Fertility, Perimenopause, Menopause & Women's Health

Dr. Azadeh Fariba, ND, IFMCP, is a Functional Medicine Practitioner dedicated to empowering women to take their health—and their power—into their own hands.

Her journey into functional and naturopathic medicine began when someone she loved was diagnosed with a chronic condition and told they would need lifelong steroids. Even before she was a doctor, Dr. Fariba knew that true healthcare is not about labeling a patient or prescribing a pill and walking away—it’s about addressing root causes and supporting the whole person. She pursued this calling at Bastyr University, where she trained in the full spectrum of modalities aligned with this philosophy.

Since graduating, Dr. Fariba has completed a two-year residency and advanced coursework through the Institute for Functional Medicine, earning her IFMCP certification. She specializes in women’s health across the lifespan, with a focus on fertility, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, menopause, hormonal imbalances, and mood support. She also has expertise in gastrointestinal health, metabolic concerns, and related conditions.

Dr. Fariba combines advanced functional medicine training with a compassionate, real-world approach—recognizing the unique demands placed on women during major hormonal transitions such as trying to conceive, the postpartum period, and midlife. Her work integrates comprehensive lab analysis, nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and targeted supplementation to create personalized, sustainable treatment plans.

Dr. Fariba believes in treating each patient as a unique whole person, providing education, tools, and support so women can reclaim their health, feel balanced, and thrive through every stage of life.

When she’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Fariba loves hanging out with her daughter, running, hiking, practicing yoga and pilates, playing with her two Jack Russell terriers, and enjoying live music and wine tasting.

Dr. Anastasia Stocker (She/Her)

Previous to Bastyr, she received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She also trained as a resident under Dr. Jenny Bennett. This multidisciplinary academic career has forged her health philosophy: Dr. Stocker believes healing should be an integration of evidence based science and traditional natural medicine.

Dr. Stocker’s clinical interests include digestive wellness, environmental medicine, women’s health, and physical medicine. She believes that our digestive system is the foundation of human health and that its optimization can improve all of the body’s systems and our overall well-being. She is also the Vice President of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP).

She is passionate about intersecting naturopathic medicine with acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, visceral, and craniosacral therapies to facilitate lasting improvements in patients with acute and chronic disease. He brings a deep commitment to integrative, systems-based care for patients navigating complex chronic illnesses—including autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, chronic infections, environmental toxicities, and autonomic dysfunction.

With extensive training in integrative and functional medicine, Dr. Sullivan combines the insights of conventional diagnostics with a truly holistic lens. His approach is investigative and individualized, built around finding and addressing root causes while supporting the body’s innate resilience. He is particularly skilled in interpreting nuanced lab results and integrating them into highly personalized, multi-layered treatment plans. His clinical decision-making is informed by current research and years of multidisciplinary collaboration, and his patients appreciate his clear, explanatory style and emphasis on partnership in care.

Dr. Sullivan’s background includes advanced training in intravenous nutrient therapies, environmental medicine, infectious disease, integrative endocrinology, and mast cell/histamine-related disorders. His goal in every case is to restore function, reduce inflammation, and empower patients with the clarity and tools they need to reclaim their health.

After earning his medical degree at Bastyr University, he was selected to participate in the prestigious teaching residency based out of Bastyr’s medical center near downtown Seattle at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. He still serves there as an adjunct faculty, professional mentor, and clinical educator. Dr. Sullivan also continues to pursue advanced post-doctorate education to further expand his knowledge in complex chronic illnesses, innovative IV procedures, and integrative immunology.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Sullivan is a passionate advocate for patient-centered medicine and spends much of his time consulting on challenging cases, developing evidence-informed protocols, and supporting providers across disciplines in advancing integrative approaches to care as well as a consultant for clinical operations management.

Dr. Alyssa Kozowski (She/Her)

IV Therapy

Dr. Alyssa Kozowski is a licensed, board certified and residency-trained naturopathic physician practicing in Seattle, Washington. She provides compassionate, whole-person care for individuals navigating complex chronic illness, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation. Her approach blends scientific rigor with deep listening, drawing on both clinical expertise and her own lived experience to create a space of safety, curiosity, and healing.

Dr. Kozowski specializes in hormone imbalance, neuroimmune dysregulation, digestive disorders, mast cell activation, autoimmunity and post-infectious syndromes. Her advanced training includes peptide therapy (certified by Dr. William Seeds), IV nutrient therapy, homeopathic trigger point injection therapy, environmental medicine, and trauma-informed care. She has completed clinical mentorships in gastrointestinal health, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and biofeedback.

With a focus on uncovering root causes, her treatment philosophy emphasizes investigative lab work, early intervention, and restoring foundational resilience through nutrition, lifestyle medicine, somatic therapies, and peptides. She is particularly passionate about supporting patients who feel dismissed or overwhelmed in conventional systems—helping them reconnect with their bodies and reclaim agency in their healing process.

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Kozowski was a professional baker, figure drawing student, and musician with a minor in audio engineering. She holds a multidisciplinary undergraduate degree with a focus on cultural systems of oppression—an academic foundation that informs her commitment to inclusive, culturally competent care that honors both biology and identity.

Her path to medicine began with personal struggles with chronic illness that were long misunderstood and minimized. Through naturopathic care, somatic work, and mental health counseling, she rebuilt her vitality and now supports others in doing the same.

Dr. Kozowski believes that a good life is a slow one. That health is relational. That symptoms are not failures—but signals. And that true medicine helps us remember who we are.

Outside the clinic, she is an artist and writer who finds joy in cooking, weightlifting, crafting botanical beadwork, and exploring the forests of the Pacific Northwest with her partner and their dog, Moxie.

Savannah Cates, LMT (She/Her)

Massage Therapist

Savannah Cates is a Licensed Massage Therapist who studied massage at Port Townsend School of Massage. Her practice blends the gentle, flowing techniques of Swedish massage with the focused pressure of deep tissue work to create sessions that are both restorative and therapeutic.

Savannah’s approach centers on full-body wellness — she believes that true relaxation comes from caring for the whole person, not just individual areas of tension. Whether you’re seeking stress relief, muscle recovery, or simply a quiet moment of rest, her calm, attentive presence helps you reconnect with your body and leaves you feeling renewed.

Growing up as a dancer, Savannah developed a deep appreciation for the body’s strength, resilience, and need for mindful care. Years of movement taught her the importance of listening to the body — to nurture it, not just push it — and to honor the power of healing and present touch. This understanding continues to guide her approach to massage today.

Outside of work, Savannah enjoys hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest, dancing, and cozying up with a good book or knitting project.
